Sandman Hotel & Suites Kelowna

I’ve been staying at the Sandman Hotel in Kelowna for several years now, and I must say, the recent updates have truly enhanced the experience. The new rooms are beautiful, boasting a fresh and modern aesthetic that makes for a comfortable stay. While the bathrooms could still use a bit of work, I have confidence that improvements are on the way. The lobby has been transformed into a bright and modern space, creating a welcoming atmosphere as soon as you step inside. I also noticed that the atrium pool is almost finished, which I’m excited to use during my next visit. What stands out to me is the exceptional service from the staff. Sid at the front desk was a delightful presence—smart, funny, and very personable. Interacting with him added a special touch to my stay. Overall, I can’t wait for my next visit to Sandman Hotel. With the new facilities set to be fully operational soon, it’s sure to be even better!

I’ve stayed at the Sandman in Kelowna three times in the last two months. The location to the airport is great and the park and fly is affordable! The staff at the front desk are friendly and accommodating. The first time I stayed Merve at the front desk was great! She helped me navigate how to get to the airport and called a taxi for me in the morning! This latest stay Sid was extremely helpful. He noticed I was travelling alone with two small kids and he offered to help carry my luggage from my car to my room and also moved me to a room closer to the door and on the main level so I didn’t have to make a long trek with the kids. The attention to detail was very appreciated!

We recently spent the past 2 weekends at the Sandman. The front staff especially Sid took such good care of us!! Would definitely recommend staying here but book thru the hotel directly!! DO NOT book thru a 3rd party company! Be careful when calling the number in the google search. It wasn’t the front desk, it was a USA 3rd party. Sid did an amazing job of helping make everything right. Huge thanks to him.

Honestly for the price, this hotel is great. I stayed here for 5 weeks for work. The Tower suites are the way to go as they are more modern than the main building. Although it would be nice if they had a real stove/oven. They are doing a bunch of renovations right now which is good. Hopefully the main building will be in better shape. The gym is large but some of the equipment is out of order. The pool area looks nice, the hot tub has been out of order for my entire stay. The hotel is on a couple main roads so the noise from traffic is a little loud. The garbage pick up at 4:30am twice a week is also loud so try to snag a room not backing onto where they pick up. Location of the hotel itself is pretty good, central. Security was always present to ward away the homeless that hang around (They did try the handles of my truck topper multiple times) The staff here are great! Lanie is always a joy to talk with and always promptly contacted me when I had a package arrival. Had some good stays here. They are improving which is great to see!

Absolutely amazing service! Me and my partner drive to Kelowna for work, and we arrived very early for our check in, however, Sid and Yash went above and beyond to get us a room ready early (almost immediately after arriving), and ensure we had everything we needed for our stay! By far one of the best hotel experiences we've had, and we will definitely be making this hotel our #1 choice for future trips!! Thanks again for making our stay amazing!!

I stayed here beginning of Feb 2026 for work. On check-in Sid, the front office manager, greeted me and was very warm and the hotel staff felt very welcoming. We talked a little bit the area and it was nice to have that personal interaction. I stayed in the tower side and had a great view the south side facing Orchard Park mall. The rooms were very clean and looked very modern. I liked the location as there was a McDonald's across the parking lot which I grabbed a coffee in the morning and I went to the Asian restaurant next door my first evening. I feel like this hotel is situated very well and offers easy access to lots of amenities. It offered everything I needed so I would definitely stay there again when I'm in Kelowna. Thank you, Sid, and your team, for a very enjoyable stay!

Sid was an absolute pleasure to check in with on my stay in Kelowna. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Starting my stay off with such an excellent interaction was just the boost I needed after a long day of driving. Great front desk manager. The room was clean and fresh with an excellent view in the tower. Sheets and bathroom were clean, no hairs or stains or other things left behind by other clients. I know this location is undergoing some renovations but I definitely recommend stopping in and staying a night. :)

Always a pleasure to stay at the Sandman in Kelowna. Great location. Clean, comfortable rooms. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Added bonus is the property is under renovation so new and updated rooms coming soon. I wasn’t at all bothered by construction. Barely noticed! Special thanks to Sid at the front desk. After a long, busy day he quickly checked me in. His genuine kindness helped me feel at ease.
